Record individual instruments and group resources into the sets used by your team. Use consistent, locally recognised names so new colleagues do not have to interpret several names for the same item.
Equipment belongs in its own catalogue
Keep equipment such as imaging and electrosurgical devices separate from hand instruments. Store organisational information, without presenting catalogue entries as instructions for operating a medical device.
Connect resources to preparation
Link the relevant resources to a procedure and review the resulting preparation list. Where your account permits photos, use authorised catalogue images without patient information. This catalogue is not a stock-control or sterilisation-traceability system.
